Mother’s Day
“They” say time heals all wounds. I don’t know who “they” are, but I’m pretty sure they’ve never experienced grief.
It’s been six years since my mom passes away; not a day goes by that I don’t miss her. Watching her take her last breath hurts my heart to this day and always will. FUCK CANCER
Losing my mom took a large piece of my heart; the empty feeling still has yet to dissipate.
Some days are more difficult than others, today being one of them. Sorrow and grief, you have to make peace with it, and allow it.
It never goes away; you end up just managing it better.
